The costly gifts worth PhP40,000.00 to PhP50,000.00 each, are the limited-edition Manny Pacquiao watches manufactured by TechnoMarine, the brand which Manny endorses.

The generosity of Manny was usual to him.  He is the kind of person who is known for his humility and kindness especially to family members, friends and acquaintances.

With the status of a Congressman receiving a gift of such kind from a fellow Congressman, in the person of a Manny Pacquiao, who is also known for earning a huge fortune from boxing, may not be surprising.

One point also, considering that the boxing champ gave the products that he is endorsing, it could also be possible that the giving could be part of a promotion strategy.  The recipient Congressmen could be the best ads for the brand that Manny endorses taking into consideration their statuses in life.

Manny is now busy preparing for his upcoming bout against Juan Manuel Marquez to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 16, 2012, Sunday.  Mrs. Jinkee Pacquiao, the wife of Manny is urging her fellow Filipinos to pray for the success of Manny instead of criticizing his generosity.
